Lisa Roberts, alias Tortee was born in Liberia, but at age 12, she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to live with her mom. While she did that, she knew she’d always had a passion for FASHION and FASHION MODELING – so she enrolled at the North Carolina Central University and studied TEXTILE and APPAREL DESIGN.
Last April, she moved to LA after successfully creating ‘AfriFusion’ and doing a number of fashion shows as a young designer. This week, she was featured in Voyagela, an LA city guide magazine widely read by tens of thousands of people.
