The Director of the Liberia National Fire Service, G. Warsuwah Barvoul, recently paid an official visit to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Headquarters, where he met with the Chief Fire Officer of Ghana, Julius Aalebkune Kuunuor, along with senior officers of the GNFS.
Director Barvoul’s visit commenced with a ceremonial Guard of Honour parade, officially welcoming the Liberian delegation to the GNFS Headquarters. The primary objective of the visit was to explore avenues for cooperation and knowledge exchange between the two nations’ fire services.
During the visit, the two fire chiefs engaged in a productive meeting, sharing best practices and discussing strategies to enhance fire safety measures and improve emergency response protocols. Both chiefs underscored the importance of collaboration in addressing common challenges in fire safety management.
The visit concluded with a mutual commitment from both fire chiefs, reaffirming the importance of regional cooperation in advancing fire safety management across West Africa.
